amBX with Windows Media Player

To finish off the main four media players that amBX is definitely compatible with we have Windows Media Player. Like the other pages you can find a short video at the bottom demonstrating amBX in action with WMP playing music using the visualiser. To get yours working it is a pretty similar process to the others in that when you launch WMP the amBX Application Manager should automatically add WMP to the list of supported software you have installed. From the list in the Application Manager select it and choose your personal preference, I always tend to opt for dynamic as I think it provides a more vibrant selection of lighting effects.

To get the lights to work now that Application Manager knows you have WMP you need to select the visualiser options. With WMP opened and on the “Now Playing” screen right click the black background and select the “Alchemy - Random” visualiser option. This should now enable the amBX lights when you start playing your music and give you a visualiser effect on the screen.
